Jixia Village is a village under the jurisdiction of Gantang Township, Pingnan County, Ningde City, Fujian Province. It is located in the southwest of Pingnan County, on the banks of Longji River.
Population
The village has 455 households with 1411 people, 18 village groups, 49 party members, and is under the jurisdiction of Yangtouzi Natural Village.
Honorary Title
It has been successively rated as one of the first batch of traditional Chinese villages, the fourth batch of famous historical and cultural villages in China, a national level ancient village related to Taiwan, a national key cultural relic protection unit, a national primary and secondary school research and practice education base, a demonstration village for rural home cleaning action in the province, the first batch of characteristic cultural relic demonstration villages in Fujian Province, an ecological village in Fujian Province, a pilot village for rural cultural revitalization in Ningde City, a national 3A level scenic spot, and a "four grassroots" practice base in Ningde City.
Historical and Cultural
The villages are distributed in the shape of "mortar" and have a large number of cultural relics resources. Among them, 8 sites including Jubao Bridge, Feilai Temple, and LongJixian Palace (Jixia Architectural Complex) have been listed as national key cultural relics protection units, including Gan Clan Ancestral Hall, Gan Family Mansion, Chairman Mao's Quote Tower, Shangxiaduifang, Traditional Architectural Complex, Lingyun Temple, Hebitang, Gan Clan Ancestral Tomb and other county-level cultural relics and important cultural carriers. These cultural relics carry a profound historical memory, carrying forward the Gan family tradition of "being honest and cautious in official duties, dedicating oneself to the country, and not losing one's family voice", conveying the red revolutionary culture, and becoming a public space in the village, receiving tourists from all directions.
