Fairy Waterfall

Dingtan Xianyan Valley

The famous' Dingtan '. Legend has it that Dingtan is the place where the Queen of Mandarin Ducks held a banquet and where the Queen of Mandarin Ducks, Lu Xiuniang, ascended to immortality. Lu Xiuniang sacrificed her life here and threw herself into the pond, becoming a mandarin duck, so there are the most mandarin ducks here. Dingtan Xianyan Valley is a river valley known as the "fully three-dimensional landscape". The rock in front is the fairy stage, and over there is the Snake Rock, which looks like a group of cobras standing upright with their necks drawn. Now let's go up and see Dingtan. This deep pool with rolling blue waves is called Dingtan. The circular holes on those rocks, according to experts' research, are formed by vortex impact and are called "lake holes". It is a great wonder that the flowing water has impacted the giant stones into so many regular lake holes.

Baizhangji waterfall & Cave

The famous' Baizhangji ', the cave behind the waterfall is called the' Water Curtain Cave '. According to local residents, there are sometimes monkeys living inside. Legend has it that the Baizhang Temple and the Water Curtain Cave were moved from Huaguo Mountain by Sun Wukong using Buddhist teachings when he was ordered by the Empress to protect the mandarin ducks. The "Baizhangji" waterfall has a drop of 157 meters and a width of over 20 meters. It is truly a "flying stream that flows down three thousand feet, suspected to be the Milky Way falling into the ninth sky". The waterfall cascades down into the clear pond, creating waves of air. The water curtain cave is embedded in the half wall of the waterfall stone, with a height of over 3 meters and a width of 4 meters, and can accommodate dozens of people. When people look out from the cave, the waterfall hangs in front of the cave, swaying gently with the wind, making them feel as if they are in the Dragon Palace. Baizhangji Waterfall, Huangguoshu, Lianyungang, Yandang Mountain and Mount Wuyi are listed as the "Five Water Curtain Caves" in China. When Zhang Chaosheng was selected as one of the Eight Scenic Spots for Yiyang Village after passing the Yiyang Military Examination, he listed Baizhang Fen as one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Yiyang - Fenshui turning into smoke, describing the drifting waterfall water as smoke like mist. Standing under the waterfall, one can only see a stream of water descending from the sky, majestic and imposing, giving people the feeling of 'clear stream water rising from the sky'. The poet describes the "hundred waterfall" as follows: "The towering rock seat is relaxed, and the moss is mottled on the heavenly path, intending to wash away the dirt and filth of the human world with a hundred zhang long waterfall. A writer described the hundred zhang long waterfall as "a group of fairies in white and plain dresses laughing and coming down together". There are beautiful ancient myths and legends and humanistic renderings, as well as the real existence of macaques, cleverly combining ancient legends with real landscapes, creating a natural harmony. The surrounding forests of Baizhangji are lush and the scenery is serene. From early morning to near noon on a sunny day, the waterfall water shines in the sunlight, with its pure white water reflecting the rainbow. It can be described as a magnificent sight that leaves visitors in awe. The Baizhangji and the Wild Goose Pond "The magnificence of Dalongqiu" and "The spiritual beauty of Xiaolongqiu"

Laba Waterfall

Laba Waterfall is the most ingenious waterfall in Yuanyangxi. The waterfall flows down like a trumpet under the influence of rock shape. You see, even water flows down from the horn mouth, splashing in all directions, just like when a drummer blows hard, spitting stars splash. It is said that the Goddess of Mandarin Ducks held a banquet in the Immortal Feast Valley of Dingtan to celebrate her birthday, laughed  Luohan played the trumpet to cheer her up, and the song won the full house.
