Mutual empowerment of city county cooperation  

City Tourism Development Group signs a comprehensive tourism strategic cooperation agreement with Pingnan County

   On March 11th, Ningde Tourism Development Group and Pingnan County People's Government signed the "Comprehensive Tourism Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement". Both sides will deepen cooperation in key areas such as comprehensive tourism development, upgrading of cultural and tourism industries, and rural revitalization in Pingnan County, and jointly promote the high-quality development of Pingnan's cultural and tourism economy. Liu Yue, Deputy Secretary of Pingnan County Party Committee and County Mayor of Pingnan County Government, Zhou Wenling, Chairman of Pingnan Tourism Development Group, Su Jian, Deputy County Mayor of Pingnan County Government, Huang Liangkuang, Deputy General Manager of Pingnan Tourism Development Group, and Chen Jianxin, Chief Financial Officer, attended the meeting.

  Pingnan has outstanding cultural and tourism resources, and is a classic red tourism scenic spot in China, a demonstration zone for national ecological civilization construction, and one of the "Top Ten" counties for county-level economic development in Fujian Province. It has high-quality cultural and tourism resources such as Baishuiyang Yuanyangxi National 5A Tourist Scenic Area, Shuangxi Ancient Town, Longtan Village, etc. It has a profound cultural heritage and significant ecological advantages. The two parties will take the upgrading of Baishuiyang Yuanyangxi Scenic Area as the starting point, fully leverage the county's resource endowment and state-owned enterprise platform advantages, focus on improving infrastructure, enriching secondary consumption products, deepening the integration of scenic areas and villages, upgrading operational quality and efficiency, and coordinating the development of projects such as Shuangxi Ancient Town and Longtan area to create high-quality rural tourism projects.

   Zhou Wenling stated that the Tourism Development Group will focus on the characteristics of Pingnan resources, carefully sort out Pingnan's cultural and tourism assets, and adhere to the principle of "deep cooperation and precise power". Through precise positioning of niche high-end customer groups, optimization of scenic area operations, strengthening business cultivation and brand marketing, it will promote the transformation of "vistor flow" into "retention" and achieve efficient transformation of ecological resources.

   Liu Yue hopes to leverage the Tourism Development Group to work together to overcome development and operational bottlenecks. Pingnan County will focus on the "dual wheel drive" of the central urban area and rural resources, gather the strength of the whole county to support the development of Baishuiyang Scenic Area, and empower both the city and county to achieve win-win cooperation.
