It is an endangered pheasant species unique to China - the yellow bellied pheasant

Usually inhabiting at an altitude of 800 to 2000 meters

Subtropical broad-leaved and coniferous mixed dense forest

During estrus, the flesh frill under the male bird's throat will expand and sag

Show bright emerald blue and vermilion colors

Dazzling and beautiful

I have been guarding the steep mountain range for 5 consecutive days

 and monitored a population of over 20. 

Zheng Peiluan introduced that

 the large population of yellow bellied pheasants 

he discovered this time is very rare

Baishuiyang · Yuanyangxi Scenic Area

 is located in Pingnan County, Ningde City, Fujian Province,

 with mountains and rivers interdependent, dense forests, and deep canyons.

 It has a complete ecosystem and provides an ideal habitat

 and breeding ground for numerous wild animals and plants. 

It is currently the only nature reserve for mandarin ducks and macaques in China
