Baishuiyang Yuanyangxi Scenic Area is located in the northeast of Pingnan County, Ningde City, Fujian Province. It is a world geological park, a national scenic spot, a national AAAAA level tourist attraction, a national sports tourism demonstration base, and the only "hometown of mandarin ducks" in China. It is a comprehensive tourist attraction that includes food, accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, shopping, and entertainment.
Baishuiyang is known as a "unique landscape" and "the ultimate wonder of the world, the mystery of the universe". It is currently the only "shallow water square" in the world. Its flat riverbed is about 2 kilometers long, with a maximum width of 182 meters, and a total area of 80000 square meters. It is just one stone away, with even water distribution and no gravel. When people walk on it, the water is ankle deep, and the waves under the sunlight are shimmering and incandescent, so named it Baishuiyang.
Yuanyangxi is known as the "Holy Land of Lovers", "Hometown of Yuanyang", "Macaque Paradise", and "Human Wonderland". It is located downstream of Baishuiyang and is the tourist area with the most waterfalls. The magnificent waterfalls of Yuanyangxi which are over 100 meters long and over 100 meters long, are stunning. Every year, thousands of pairs of Yuanyang come here from the north to spend the winter, also known as the Yuanyangxi Waterfall Group. The forest in the area is dense, the canyon is deep, and the narrowest point is only one meter.
